01 / Why now
The public internet is used up. What labs need now is inside companies like yours.
AI models learned to write from the open web. That supply is running out, and every lab knows it. The next leap needs something the web never had: a record of how real businesses actually run. The customer email thread that saved an account. The ticket that took nine replies to solve. The work order, the contract redline, the dispatch log.
That record already exists. It is sitting in your inbox, your help desk and your shared drives, and it gets more valuable every year you have been in business.
The labs have the budgets. You have the records. We put the two together and make sure you are paid what they are worth.

04 / How it works
Four steps. You decide at every one of them.
Get your estimate
Answer a few questions about your company. No files, no logins, no access to anything.
About 2 minutesWe bring you buyers
We take your company profile, never your data, to the labs paying for your kind of records.
Offers in 1 to 2 weeksYou choose and sign
You pick the systems, the date ranges and what stays out. You sign with the buyer directly.
On your timelineYou get paid
The buyer handles the export and the removal of personal details under contract, then pays you.

Four questions. The range updates as you answer. It is built from the formulas AI data buyers publish, averaged and rounded down.
- Company size
- 50 to 99 people
- Years in business
- 8 to 15
- Systems
- 4 selected
An estimate from published buyer formulas, not an offer. Final terms come from the buyer and depend on what your records hold.
Thank you. Your estimate is on its way.
We will review your answers and reply from hello@dillisdata.com, usually within one business day, with your range and the buyers that fit.
06 / Privacy
We don't want your data. We never touch it.
DillisData makes introductions and helps you through the terms. Your records go from you to the buyer you chose, under a signed contract. They never pass through us.
Chain of custody
- Before
- We learn about your company, not your records. No files, no access, no logins.
- Contract
- You set the systems, date ranges and exclusions. They are written into the agreement.
- Transfer
- Directly between you and the buyer, after you sign. Never through DillisData.
- After
- You keep ownership. The buyer gets a license to use the data as the contract says.
Our commitments
- We never receive, host, open or copy your data.
- Nothing moves until you sign with the buyer.
- You choose what is included and what stays out.
- Buyers remove names and personal details before the data is used, and you can review samples before delivery.
- Your company keeps ownership. You grant a license; you do not sell your records.
- Regulated records, like patient charts or privileged files, get extra care or stay out. We will tell you straight which is which.
07 / Why an agency
You could pitch the labs yourself. Here is what you would be up against.
| What it takes | On your own | With DillisData |
|---|---|---|
| Finding who is buying | Cold-pitch labs and data vendors one by one. | We track who is buying, what they want and what they pay. |
| Knowing what it is worth | Take the first number you are offered. | We benchmark your records against what buyers publish and pay. |
| Comparing offers | One conversation at a time. | Several buyers, side by side. |
| Reading the terms | Miss an exclusive or perpetual license that blocks future deals. | We flag exclusivity, scope and payment terms before you sign. |
| Your time | Weeks of calls, forms and follow-ups. | A few minutes to start. We do the chasing. |
| Cost to you | Your time. | $0 |
08 / Our fee
You pay nothing. Not now, not at closing.
The buyer pays our fee, on top of what they pay you. It never comes out of your check. If no deal happens, nobody owes anybody anything.
09 / FAQ
Straight answers.
Still have a question? Email hello@dillisdata.com.
Is this legitimate?
Yes. Licensing business records to AI developers is a fast-growing, public market. Airlines, publishers, platforms and hundreds of smaller companies have done it, and the largest AI companies run formal programs to buy this data. The links in the market section above go to the original reports.
Do you ever see our data?
No. We never receive, host or open it. We make the introduction and help you compare and negotiate terms. After you sign, the transfer happens directly between you and the buyer.
What does it cost us?
Nothing. The buyer pays our fee, on top of what they pay you. It does not come out of your payout.
Who are the buyers?
Frontier AI labs and the specialist companies that supply them with training data. We share specific names once we know which programs fit your company, and only with your agreement.
What happens to customer and employee personal information?
Buyers remove names, contact details and other personal identifiers before the data is used, and most let you review samples before anything is delivered. You can also exclude any system, mailbox, folder or date range in the contract. No de-identification is perfect, so we help you set exclusions that fit your risk.
Do we lose ownership of our records?
No. You grant a license to use a copy of the data for the purposes in the contract. Some buyers ask for exclusive or perpetual rights. We point those out before you sign so you can decide, and so you can keep the option to license the same records again.
How much will we get, and when?
It depends on your size, your years of history and which systems you hold. Buyers publish ranges from $10,000 to more than $4 million per company. Most pay after the data passes review and is delivered, with published timings from 7 to 60 days.
We are a law firm or a medical practice. Does this work for us?
Often, yes, with care. Your own business records, like operations, billing and internal email, can usually be licensed. Privileged client files and patient records carry legal duties and are often excluded. Tell us what you hold and we will be straight about what fits. Have your counsel review any agreement.
We are closing, or already closed. Is it too late?
No. Archives from companies that have wound down are licensing too, as long as someone with authority can still access and sign for the records.
How long does it take?
The estimate takes about two minutes. Buyers typically come back with interest within one to two weeks. From signing to payment is usually a few weeks, depending on the buyer and how fast your team can export.
Are we obligated to anything if we fill out the form?
No. The estimate and our conversations are free and carry no obligation. Nothing happens unless you choose a buyer and sign.
